           Alhamdulillahirabbil'alamin, praise Allah SWT who has given His mercy and grace to me so I managed to complete the task this paper in a timely manner. I created this paper to further deepen my understanding of one Windows 7 OS.

I realize that this paper is far from perfect, By because it critiques and suggestions from all parties which are constructive I always hoped for the perfection of this paper. PRELIMINARY

A.     Background to the dispute

The use of the computer at this time is to help our work in any way, such as typing, or making presentations. Most of us can only operate or use it alone. Do not know how the process or how to install the operating system and installed software that is used for word processing or presentation typing on the computer.

B.     Formulation of the problem

To fulfill the task of earning titled "Setting BIOS and Install Windows". Besides the task is structured to facilitate me in meningat and practice how - how, processes or steps - steps to install Windows 7.

DISCUSSION

A.     Steps BIOS settings

Before installing the operating system on the computer, we must first bios settings that exist on the computer so that the installation CD in the CD ROM which can be detected by the computer system. There are several ways of doing the installation of computers namely: to use the media CD ROM or can also use the flash. But copying data during the installation of better use CD ROM so that no files are coroupt. On this occasion I will give tutorials ways bios settings before the installation of the operating system on the computer:

1.      Turn on the computer by pressing the power button on the computer, or if the computer is already turned on then you can restart the computer.

2.      After the first time the computer is on, press the DELETE button continuously to be able to load the bios computer.

3.      After the bios menu display has appeared, then we select the boot menu to select a boot that will be prioritized

4.      Then select the boot device priority and then ENTER to select the priority.

5.     If using a CD ROM, then select the CD ROM on 1st Boot Device.

6.      Then press F10 to save and exit, or you can follow the instructions can be under or beside the bios menu.
     Then the computer will retart by itself.
Note:
     Keep the Installation CDs are already on CD ROM
     If tida can use the DELETE key to enter the bios menu, then use the other buttons: F2   or ESC.

B.     Installing Windows

A. Minimum Hardware Requirements Specification

•         Processor with a speed of 1 GHz Intel (32 bit or 64 bit).

•         At least 1 GB of RAM for 32-bit and 2 GB for 64-bit.

•         Space remaining hard disk at least 16 GB for 32-bit and 20 GB for 64-bit.

•         Direct X 9 graphics card.

B. Preparation

•         Prepare cassette CD Windows 7

•         A computer that is equipped with an optical drive (CD or DVD) and a USB port that can work well.

C.    Steps  Installation of Windows 7

Insert the DVD windows 7 or plug the flash windows 7 us, and then the boot was put on media that we have chosen, and then the process of loading the file will start.

Select your language, time and currency format, keyboard or input method and click Next.

Click Install now

Stain I accept the license terms and click Next.

Click Upgrade if you already have a previous version of Windows or Custom (advanced) if you do not have a previous version of Windows or want to install a new copy of Windows 7.

(Skip this step if you choose Upgrade and only have one partition) Select the drive where you want to install Windows 7 and click Next. If you want to create a partition, click the option Drive options (advanced), create a partition and then click Next.7.

Now it will start installing Windows 7. After that it will automatically restart after 15 seconds and continue with setup. You can also click on Restart now to restart without the need to wait.

Type the user name that you want in the text box and click Next. Computer name will automatically be filled.

If you want to set a password, type in the text box and click Next.

Type in your product key in the text box and click Next. You can also skip this step and just click Next if you want to type a product key later. Windows will run only for 30 days if you do this.

Select the options you want for Windows Update.

Select a time zone and click Next.

If you are connected to any network, it will prompt you to specify a network location.

And this is the view when we've installed windows 7.

conclusion:
In today most humans can not be separated from the computer, almost all the work using a computer, such as in formal learning activities, daily and on the company, the computer itself can not be separated from the Operating System.
            Every general-purpose computer must have an operating system to run other programs. Operating systems perform basic tasks, such as recognizing input from the keyboard, sending output to the screen, keeping track of files and directories on the disk, and controlling peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers.
            For large systems, the operating system has a greater responsibility and power. It is like a traffic cop - it will ensure that different programs and users running at the same time do not interfere with each other. This operating system is also responsible for security, ensuring that unauthorized users accessing the system.
            Windows is an operating system that has been used by many familiar, Start private users and companies. In Windows we we can manage all the settings on the control panel, we can also play at the Command prompt. Regardless of the shortcomings and advantages, the windows still widely used by people and become popular again with the advent of Windows 8 that can attract the market.
